A recording of the carol will, for the first time, become available to stream and download immediately following the broadcast at 16:30 GMT through Apple Music and iTunes. Commissioned carol 2011. The combination of ADD and DDD recordings yields mixed results and makes the album difficult for focused home listening. Commissioned carol 2007. Commissioned carols. We aim to have about 600 seats available and these are given to those who queue for them. The queue begins to form a day or so before the service outside the main College entrance on King’s Parade, and is admitted to College grounds at 7.30am on Christmas Eve. These are familiar English carols (plus a few adopted into the English tradition), music that would be used in services or other church-related events, sung a cappella or with organ accompaniment as they would be for those proceedings. There is also a warmth in and a care for its ensemble work that represents a high level of musicianship from men and boys who are not necessarily studying to become professional musicians.
